Wearable Art
Express your unique style in this one-of-a-kind week in the studio. Each day students will design and create works of art that they can actually wear: hats, t-shirts, jewelry, shoes, and more. This camp will give young artists the opportunity to put their creativity and artistic skills to work in a brand new way. Students will learn basic sewing skills, up-cycled fashion skills, and experiment with paint, dye, fabric, and other fun materials. By the end of camp, students will go home with a variety of hand made wearable projects and the skills to continue designing at home. Take your artwork off the canvas and onto the runway in this art camp you will not want to miss!
*Students will need to bring a pair of white canvas shoes that they can decorate and paint. No previous sewing skills are required to attend wearable art camp.
